Accountability.
Elizabeth understands the importance and value of having elected officials that understand that they are in office to serve the people who elect her. She is looking forward to serving all of the people of the borough while she is in office.
Transparency.
A government that does not let the constituents know what they are doing are not serving the people as they should be. If the constituency cannot check what their representatives are doing, they cannot know for sure that the public servants are doing their due diligence to serve those who put them in office.
Accessibility.
Public servants who do not openly encourage their constituents to contact them cannot really claim that they are public servants. While Elizabeth is still currently working a full time job, in addition to all of her political involvement, she will still return messages sent to her email, or campaign cell number.
